Black Friday is one of the biggest sales windows of the year on TikTok Shop, for sellers and affiliates alike. Nobody has real Black Friday 2026 numbers yet, but TikTok Shop's last major sitewide sale, Deals For You Days, just ran, and RapidTok pulled real performance data across 500,000 products from it. Here's what it actually showed, and how to prepare.

Black Friday is one of the biggest sales events of the year, and on TikTok Shop it's a real opportunity to maximize profit, for affiliates and especially for shop owners. Prepare and be rewarded!

TikTok Shop's last major sitewide sale, Deals For You Days, ran in June 2026, and RapidTok analyzed 500,000 products from it. This article breaks down what worked, what the data showed, and how to prepare for Black Friday, for sellers and for affiliates and creators promoting shop products.

What actually happened last Black Friday on TikTok Shop

TikTok Shop's 2025 BFCM campaign ran November 12 through December 1, a three-week window similar to 2024's (November 13 through December 2). Within it, the four-day Black Friday-to-Cyber-Monday stretch alone did more than $500 million in U.S. sales, TikTok reported, with nearly 50% more shoppers buying than in 2024.1

Creator affiliates posted close to 10 million shoppable videos over the campaign.1 For scale, a separate 2024 dataset put combined Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales at $137.14 million that year, $85.9 million on Black Friday and $51.24 million on Cyber Monday.2 That's a narrower two-day window than TikTok's four-day 2025 figure, so it's not a clean multiple, but the direction is obvious: TikTok Shop's Black Friday got meaningfully bigger between 2024 and 2025 on every metric reported.

No 2026 dates or campaign details are out yet, which is normal this far ahead. Black Friday itself falls on November 27, 2026. Based on the last two years, expect a multi-week campaign opening in mid-November, with the bulk of the numbers concentrated around Black Friday weekend itself.

Why TikTok Shop's Black Friday isn't generic e-commerce Black Friday

It's tempting to treat this like Black Friday on any other channel, but the underlying shopper behavior is different, and that changes what works.

Adobe Analytics tracked $257.8 billion in U.S. online holiday spending for 2025, up 6.8% year over year.3 That's the broader backdrop: a shopper who arrives with a plan, a list, a product already in mind, comparing prices across a few known retailers.

TikTok Shop's audience skews the other way. eMarketer puts it at 18.2% of U.S. social commerce in 2025, headed for 24.1% by 2027, with sales projected past $20 billion in 2026 and buyers set to pass 57.7 million, over half of all U.S. social shoppers.4 That's discovery-driven volume: people encountering a product through a video or livestream and buying because it showed up at the right moment, not because they searched for it.

What TikTok Shop's last major sales event actually shows

RapidTok analyzed 500,000 products through Deals For You Days, TikTok Shop's June 2026 sitewide sale, comparing the June 17–July 2 sale window against the baseline week before it.

One caveat upfront: this is a summer event, not a holiday one, so it's not a preview of which categories win on Black Friday. It is the most recent real look at how a TikTok Shop sitewide sale actually behaves, and those mechanics should carry straight over into November.

Median revenue lift
+150%
roughly 2.5x baseline, across the 500K products analyzed
Earned more
95%
of products earned more revenue than the week before
Went viral
13%
hit "viral" territory, 5x or more revenue growth
Average discount
~3%
median discount landed around 2%

The headline finding is the gap between what TikTok advertised ("savings of up to 55% off") and what sellers actually did (a typical 2-3% cut), and how little that gap mattered:

Discount tierRevenue lift
~20% discount+256%
0–10% discount+153%
10–20% price increase+108%

The revenue lift tracked with being part of the event, the traffic and algorithm boost that comes with sitewide sale placement, far more than it tracked with discount depth. Every category grew:

None of that means discounting doesn't matter. Deeper discounts saw bigger lifts, and the gap is real: +256% at ~20% off versus +153% at 0-10% off. But whether that trade is worth taking depends on your own cost of goods and margin, not something to assume from this data alone. A product with room to give up 20% and still profit is in a different position to one where that cut wipes the margin out. What's clear either way: sellers who can't discount deeply still saw a real lift just from being part of the event. Discount depth is a lever worth pulling if your margin supports it; being visible during the event is a lever every seller has, regardless of margin.

For Black Friday, that reframes the prep question: less "how deep can I cut this product" and more "am I actually visible during the window," through posting volume, livestream hours, and creator affiliate content. That's what the data says is doing the heavy lifting.

Frequently asked questions

Does TikTok Shop run its own Black Friday campaign?

Yes. TikTok Shop has run a multi-week BFCM campaign each of the last two years, opening in mid-November and running through early December, with the heaviest numbers concentrated in the four-day Black Friday-to-Cyber-Monday stretch. No official 2026 dates or details are out yet.

How much did TikTok Shop do in Black Friday sales last year?

TikTok reported more than $500 million in U.S. sales over the four-day Black Friday-Cyber Monday period in 2025, with nearly 50% more shoppers than 2024. A separate 2024 dataset put combined Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales that year at $137.14 million, though that's a narrower two-day window, so it's not a direct comparison.

Do deep discounts actually matter more than just showing up during the event?

Based on TikTok Shop's June 2026 Deals For You Days data, not as much as most sellers assume. The average discount across 500,000 products was only about 3%, and products with little or no discount still saw major revenue lifts, some priced higher still grew. Being visible during the event tracked with results more than discount depth did.

Do affiliates and creators get anything extra during Black Friday, or is it seller-only?

Both. TikTok's 2025 BFCM reporting called out creator affiliate activity directly, close to 10 million shoppable videos posted, and livestream host sales up 84% year over year.

When should I start preparing?

Realistically, late September to early October, to leave time to test content, lock inventory, and build livestream audience before the event window opens in mid-November.
