Perioral dermatitis can be triggered by fluoride in toothpaste and topical steroids. Also, if you use a steroid inhaler, thos can also trigger perioral derm, so its best to rinse your face AFTER using it. To reduce irritation, Would start out using SULFUR products or AZELAIC ACID daily and then can start using both if youre not seeing enough improvement after 6-8 weeks of using ONE of the products. Both can be a little drying. Sulfur is stinky.
