People always ask why hip openers feel so emotional. Maybe your body is holding onto something or someone…it’s more than tight muscles. This is the exact split machine linked below. #breakups #myex #splitmachine #hipopener #flexibilitytraining

Looks like torture, but feels amazing to open up your hips! If you want your splits get this!!! #splits #flexibilitychallenge #flexible #dealsforyoudays

Yes I said Black women! Our bodies are not supposed to feel tense all the time. some “tight hips” are really a stressed nervous system asking you to slow down and let go (of somebody or something) #hipopener #tighthips #hipmobility #nervoussystem #yogatok

Day 20. Twenty days on the split machine taught me that flexibility is less about forcing yourself and more about showing up consistently and listening to your body. I’m still not in a full split, and my left hip is clearly moving on its own schedule 😂 Some days I feel progress; other days I just breathe and stay where I am. Day 20 of my split training—and I’m proud I kept going. If you’re working on your splits or hip flexibility too, this is the split machine I’ve been using. #SplitMachine #SplitTraining #HipFlexibility #FlexibilityJourney #StretchingRoutine

Day 18 of my split challenge: evicting my crusty ex from my hips 😂 If you keep saving split tutorials, try a consistent stretch with the adjustable split trainer I’m using. Replying to @…44 they don’t want us to open these hips girl. Let me tell you why

Day 17!!! How many split tutorials have you saved just to stay stiff? 😂 Tap the cart and get this exact machine. Wow it’s my Day 17 and my hips are finally getting the message. #SplitMachine #SplitChallenge #HipFlexibility #FlexibilityTraining #StretchingRoutine

Apparently my hips needed closure too 😂 so we’re releasing them one crusty ex at a time. The split machine lets me control how deep I go instead of forcing the stretch. I’ve been storing every crusty ex in my hips, so we’re clearing inventory 😂 Jokes aside, hip opening has always felt emotional for me. In yoga, the sacral chakra is associated with the pelvis and themes like pleasure, intimacy, creativity, desire and our relationship to change—so I love using my stretching time as a little physical + emotional reset. No, doing the splits isn’t scientifically extracting your ex from your left hip 😂 but slowing down, breathing and giving my body time to open feels like a pretty good ritual for letting go of what I don’t need anymore. And THIS is why I like the split machine. I’m not dropping into a split and fighting for my life. I control how far I open, sit there, breathe, and go a little deeper when my body is ready. Some things deserve closure. My hips deserve an opening. #HipOpening #TightHips #FlexibilityTraining #SplitsTraining #HipMobility
