If you are new to flossing slightly and gently under the gums, it may most likely bleed because you are disrupting bacteria under the gums. Don’t apply too much pressure but gently hug each side of the tooth and slide up and down until you feel resistance. Keep flossing all areas that bleed! The more you floss the less it will bleed.
